We recently held our first event at West Lancashire Golf Club and the whole experience was fantastic right from the start. With being a more traditional members club, it could be expected that the levels of service may drop for a corporate booking but at West Lancashire this was not the case at all. We worked the Chris the General Manager who was very thorough in the organisation of our day and the team really went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic day.
On arrival we were really impressed with the clubhouse overall, it was extremely modern and large, which I’m sure the members are proud to call their club! We were situated in the main bar and lounge area for our breakfast which had a large balcony overlooking the 9th and 18th greens, you wont find a much better view for breakfast. Following the golf we had a drinks reception on that balcony as it was a lovely day and for lunch we were in the restaurant which again had glass panels throughout to over look the course.
The course itself if beautiful, extremely scenic as you are looking out into the Irish sea, we were extremely lucky as we had absolutely zero wind on the day which for Links Golf is unheard off and made for perfect conditions out on the golf course. There was a really friendly starter on the first tee giving tips and advise for our group and encouraging a good pace of play.
